Mr.Kast for the last 3 days had helped me troubleshoot my project, which was a hassle and turned out to have an easy solution. Initially he had soldered the lcd board but that ended up not being the issue. In the end you need to make sure you are using a power adapter that works for the screen, Mr.Kast suggested using one that had at least 5V. For the Raspberry Pi using the 2Amp should work well.
In the end if you have a problem with the lcd board suddenly powering down and not working attempt to check the power adapter and use one that works for sure in order to help troubleshoot and save time.
